NYC Chapter of ABOTA presented the President’s Award to Dr. Kevin Toosi for contributing to the art and science of trial advocacy during his years of educating juries in biomechanics and accident reconstruction.
On May 2, 2024, BioEx Consulting’s engineering leadership team attended dinner and CLE Program Jointly Presented by NYC ABOTA and the Defense Association of New York at the historic Fraunces Tavern’s Bissell Room in lower Manhattan. During the presentation “How to Admit Evidence At Trial,” Dr. Toosi was a guest speaker and participated in a mock trial including a cross examination on biomechanics and accident reconstruction. Following the CLE program, and to the surprise of Dr. Toosi, NYC ABOTA President Steven Balson-Cohen, Esq. presented the President’s award to Dr. Toosi for contributing to the art and science of trial advocacy during his years of educating juries in biomechanics and accident reconstruction. This marked the first time that the President’s award was awarded to a non-attorney.
